When Denise found out that the original Western Digital hard drive I needed was unavailable until the following week, she found a comparable drive and had it overnighted on 1-12-06. This required extra effort on her part to find the original order, change it, and ensure that the new part was shipped out on time. She's even going to send me an additional invoice from my records in Washougal, WA. Comments: I have had to replace drives in my laptops a few times. The last couple times it seemed so hard dealing with the customer service at Gateway about older parts. You guys made it so easy. I knew what I need pretty much already but your site was easy to go right to it and order it. Then you shipped it on time and by the end of the week I had it in my hands, exactly what I ordered. The last time I got one from gateway it came a week late even though I paid for air shipping, it got lost again, it was hard to track, and when I did finally have it in my hands it was not what I had ordered. I didn't feel like wasting anymore time with the computer down and just used it only to have it break within a month. It was such a hassle ordering it that when I went back and tried to deal with them again I just hung up the phone, the website was unnavigable unless I wanted a new computer. I searched a little and found you guys and in 5 mins I had purchased what I wanted and got an email! Not the 5 days it took Gateway. On top of that, though I did not need most of them at the time, you offered plenty of resources to find what I needed if I wasn't sure, and though you were so thourough on the actual site, I can only imagine how helpful you would have been if I needed assistance through the phone of email. Only a small problem I had was when I was checking out my cart. Once I had entered everything, card #'s and billing info etc. there was no verification screen showing the info before the final submission. I missed a check box because of that and had to email a correction. I might add that you promptly replied to the correction. But my mistake checking out would have been avoided if I had a chance to review what was entered and then given a final verification before the purchase was made. Just a thought for us fumble fingers. Anyhow I was happy with every aspect of doing business with you and I thank you again and certainly if I need another drive will look to you first. Thanks.
